4:24 am, not able to fall asleep. Probably due to the fact that I didn’t get out of bed until 4 pm yesterday. I had what might have been the worst hangover I’ve ever had and was in bed for 14 hours. On Easter Sunday mind you. Go me! Anyways, haven’t updated in a few weeks, so I thought I’d take some time to do so now. We are 75% done with the production, having 12 of 16 of the instrumentals ready to go. Doug and I have handled all of the production up to this point. But 3 of the remaining 4 beats will feature guest producers. One of them being our dj, J Fresh. We have 1 song completely written, and are about half way through 4 other tracks. This album will also feature 3 guest vocal appearances, which I’m pretty stoked about. 2 of them being from a Des Moines hip hop group that hasn’t been active in years. That track will be fire. We will also be releasing a single from the album on Tuesday, June 29th. It will be available for download for free exclusively on this site. So make sure you cop that! Don’t forget, if you still don’t have our last release, it is available for purchase on this web site through Paypal. As well as at Zzz Records, or through me. Anyways, I’m out. Good evening party people. My counterpart has been filling you in on his half of the progression, and I thought now is a good time to fill you in on mine. Hectic. That’s how you could describe my life right now if you only had one word to do it. Many events and situations are unfolding on a daily basis, and time management is a skill I didn’t pick up on very well. BUT ALAS! I have written some material. I have contributed 7 beat compositions to the album. Things are moving forward. If only I had a mic booth….

We are only voices in your head. Sound waves carried on a frequency that is floating through empty space. So put them headphones on and get ready for a heavy album. Because it’s coming….

What’s up world? Not much here, just loungin’ at my apartment listenin’ to the bar across the street bumpin’ some Tone Loc. That’s what’s up. It was a month ago today that I decided to put away drugs, alcohol, and tobacco for a while. I am still going strong and feeling great! I wonder how long this will last? We’ll see. Anyways, things with the album are coming along nicely. And since we are giving ourselves such a ridiculously short amount of time to make this album, they need to be. We have most of the tracks produced, and are steady making beats. I’m in the middle of writing 3 songs right now and am happy with the way things are going so far. Hopefully Douglas is moving at the same rate. We have a few ideas in mind for the album title and should decide on one before too much longer. We will most likely post 2 or 3 of the tracks from the album up for download before the release, so stay tuned for that! We would also love it if you would introduce our music to any of your friends who may not have heard it yet. That would be amazing! More content to come soon…

Hey folks,

Just a brief update. New album will be released on July 17, 2010. We will be playing a show on that day at the Vaudeville Mews to celebrate this release. The disc will be for sale for $7. And it would be fantastic if you came to the show and brought $7 with you. Or just remind me that it’s not worth $7, and I will probably concur and give it to you.  Anyways, we’re off to a decent start. Beats coming along nicely, as well as a few song ideas. And fortunately for me, my writing is flowing right along currently. Is this due to the fact that I have put away drugs and alcohol for a month to clear my mind? I can’t call it, probably not.  My wallet appreciates it though, as well as probably my lungs and liver. On another note, I am in a strange state of mind right now, and don’t know what to make of it. Too many life changes at once I think.  We’ll see how it goes. Anyways, I’m off take care of some bullshit, then hit the studio. Enjoy your Sunday.
